A Florida woman is accused of shooting her boyfriend multiple times after the two got into a fight during a night out.

On Nov. 7 around 1:10 a.m., the Lakeland Police Department said, the couple was leaving the Hookah Palace when "they began to engage in a physical confrontation" and allegedly exchanged "several" blows.

Police said Sharainnia Gornail, 30, "was then observed walking away from the victim and into a nearby vehicle to retrieve a firearm."

She allegedly approached the 31-year-old victim again, "at which point he shot him several times," police said.

He was pronounced dead at Lakeland Regional Health Medical Center.

According to police, a friend allegedly drove Gornail from the scene of the shooting to the emergency room of a nearby hospital for treatment of injuries she sustained during the altercation.
