Former Texas Food Supplies Warehouse Employee Walked Into Old Job, Shot Co-Worker in Chest, Police Say

A Texas man was taken into custody after he allegedly walked into his former employer and fatally shot a current employee, according to authorities.
Around 10:30 p.m. on May 17, the shooting took place in the employee parking lot of the Sysco Food Supplies warehouse in Lewiston, WFAA reported.
According to police, the suspect, identified as 35-year-old Lonnie Russell, used to work at Sysco and shot the victim, identified as 36-year-old Dominic Carroll, multiple times in the chest, killing him.
Authorities said the two men were known acquaintances of each other, but no motive for the shooting was given.

After the shooting took place, Russell attempted to run from the scene, but he was quickly caught by police, according to WFAA.
Russell was arrested and charged with murder, police said. He is being held on a $250,000 bond.
