In 2015, three people were murdered in Savannah, Georgia. Now, years later, police say they have made arrests in connection to the case.

Around 8:30 p.m. April 13, 2015, police responded to a shots fired call at a home in Savannah, where they found three victims dead from gunshot wounds.

The deceased were identified as Anderson Mells, 52, Gary Mells, 30, and Johnny Green, 37, according to Savannah police.

Officers immediately detained two persons of interest following a traffic stop, but they were later released after questioning, and the case eventually went cold, according to police.

The Major Crimes Unit recently reopened the case in recent months, resulting in new leads and the identification of multiple suspects in the case, according to Savannah police.

On Aug. 10, a Chatham County grand jury indicted three suspects on charges of felony murder and malice murder.

On Aug. 13, the U.S. Marshal’s Southeast Regional Fugitive Task Force and Savanah police SWAT arrested Stanley Hall, 38, after he barricaded himself in a home, according to police.

On Aug. 20, police arrested John Baker, 29, and Jerrell Williams, 39, Savannah police noted. All suspects have been booked into the Chatham County Jail.
