Georgia man accused of murder after marijuana drug deal went wrong

A Georgia man allegedly killed a man during a marijuana transaction in the parking lot of a Best Western.
Javacea Javonne Battle, 23, was taken into custody and charged with murder on Dec. 1, according to the Bibb County Sheriff's Office.
On Nov. 23, Chauncey Jevon Love II, 27, was fatally wounded during a marijuana deal in the parking lot of a Best Western in the 2400 block of Riverside Drive in Macon, Georgia, according to the sheriff's office.

During the drug deal, Love was shot by the individuals he met with, according to police.
Love tried to drive away after being shot. His vehicle crossed over Riverside Drive and went into a ditch, according to the sheriff's office.
The passengers that were with Love jumped out of the vehicle and ran across the interstate, according to police. Love was pronounced dead at the scene by the coroner.
Battle has been transported to the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office Law Enforcement Center, and he is being held without bond.
