Man Found Dead Outside Georgia Home, Suspect Arrest. But, Police Have Not Said What Led To The Killing.

A man was found shot dead in a yard and now another person faces murder charges, police said.
This week, police in Byron, Georgia, announced the arrest of Rodney Slocumb in connection to the case.
On Sept. 30, police responded to Shady Bank Lane for a report of a shooting. When police arrived, they found 46-year-old Claude Deaton outside the residence with a gunshot wound.
He was taken to the hospital, where he died.
Police identified Slocumb as the suspect and he was arrested at the scene. However, police have not released a motive in the case.
Slocumb was charged with murder, and police say further charges are pending. The Georgia Bureau of Investigation is assisting in the case.
