A man stabbed his girlfriend to death at a Georgia home and now faces a murder charge, police said.
Last week, the Hall County Sheriff’s Office in Georgia announced the arrest of Rashon Otis Bacon, 45. He is accused of killing his girlfriend, 26-year-old Alexis Davis Roberson.
Around 10:30 a.m. on Aug. 22, a friend found Roberson inside a home, according to the sheriff’s office.
Deputies responded and determined she had been stabbed multiple times, and she was pronounced dead at the scene.
Bacon lived at the home but left before police arrived. He returned as police were investigating. He was taken into custody for questioning, according to the sheriff’s office.
After speaking with police, he was charged with murder.
Investigators have yet to determine a motive in the case. Bacon is being held in jail without bond.
