Water gun and balloon fight turned into actual gunfire, Georgia teen killed: police

A water gun and balloon game in Georgia turned into a physical fight and shooting that left an 18-year-old dead, police said.
According to the Fayette County Sheriff’s Office, the shooting incident happened on May 7.
Daquan Rueben Gillett, 18, collapsed on the scene and medical personnel tried to provide aid when they arrived, authorities said.
Gillett was transported to a hospital and was pronounced dead a short time later, police said.
A second person was wounded during the gunfire, but fled the scene in a vehicle and was later dropped off at the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, according to investigators.
After investigators viewed surveillance footage and interviewed witnesses, a suspect was identified and arrest warrants were issued, police said.
Sean Allen, 20, was that suspect and he turned himself in at the Fayette County Sheriff’s Office on May 17, ten days later, police said.
He was booked into the Fayette County Jail and charged with felony murder and aggravated assault, according to cops.
The investigation is still ongoing and no further details have been released.
