A woman from Georgia was arrested after she was allegedly seen stepping on a 5-year-old child at an autism therapy center. She was allegedly caught on surveillance camera doing so and has been arrested by authorities.

The woman has been identified as Aaniyah Brown. She has been charged with first-degree cruelty, according to the Richmond County Sheriff’s Office.
The incident occurred on April 28th, following which the authorities arrested Brown and charged her. The incident occurred at Circle City ABA therapy center, located on Wheeler Road. The incident was also captured on camera, showing Brown placing her foot on the child's face.
Incident Details
Deputies were first dispatched to the Circle City ABA Therapy Center at about 1:23 p.m. on April 28 after receiving a report that Brown had allegedly assaulted a child, according to the sheriff’s office.
According to WRDW reports, the person who reported the incident to authorities said someone else had brought it to her attention.
Investigation Details
The security camera footage inside the therapy center shows Brown pushing the child away with her foot two times before holding the child down by stepping on his lower back. The woman said that Brown then placed her foot on the child and pushed him as he was trying to stand up.
Deputies watched the video and found that the events matched the description in the arrest warrant obtained by WRDW. The arrest warrant also claims that Brown placed her foot on the face of the child. However, according to the report of the outlet, the woman later told the authorities that she was using her foot to keep the child from harming her.
The Circle City ABA has not yet issued any official statement. The people also reached out to the organisation for a comment on the incident, but the organisation has not responded yet.
According to WRDW reports, the defendant was arrested at approximately 4:20 p.m. and transported to the Richmond County Jail. Brown was charged with one count of first-degree cruelty to children and was released from jail after she paid the bond of $22,000.
The investigation is ongoing, and authorities will provide more details as it proceeds.
