Dad shot and killed in front of daughter in a robbery outside Texas Dave & Buster's

 A father was gunned down in front of his daughter in a robbery outside of a popular arcade in Houston, police say. 

 Shortly after 10 p.m. April 4, Houston police responded to a Dave & Buster’s for a reported shooting. One person was killed in the incident. 

Police told local media the victim was inside the arcade for several hours and shot next to his Cadillac SUV in the parking lot. The incident happened in front of the victim’s juvenile daughter. 

“As we can all imagine, it’s terrible,” Detective Jason Escobar told the Houston Chronicle. 

The family was out for a fun night that turned into a tragedy. 

The man ran for help after he was shot, police said. He was taken to the hospital, where he later died. The victim has not been named.
