An Illinois man faces a host of felony charges for a drunken car crash that killed another person, police said.
On Nov. 21, deputies from the Kendall County Sheriff’s Office responded to a crash in Fox Township, Illinois. The investigation determined Oscar Cano was driving his vehicle when it collided with a car driven by Robert Gray.
Gray was pronounced dead at the scene, according to the sheriff’s office.
Cano and his passenger were both thrown from the car, according to the sheriff’s office. They were taken to the area hospitals with serious injuries.
This week, police arrested Cano and charged him in connection to the crash. He now faces four counts of aggravated DUI causing death and four counts of aggravated DUI causing injury.
He was booked into jail and bond was set at $500,000.
