Two people have been arrested in connection to a year’s old murder of a teen in Illinois.
Last week, police in Danville, Illinois, announced the arrests of Aeron Clark and Aerick Clark in connection to the murder of Jeremiaha Deneal, 19, on Jan. 11, 2018.
Around 8:30 a.m. on Jan. 11, 2018, police responded to a report of a vehicle parked in the road with the engine running, according to Danville police. When officers arrived, they found Deneal dead in the vehicle.
An autopsy showed that he died from a single gunshot wound to the heard, according to Danville police.
Officers investigated and identified the Clarks as suspects. The two are twin brothers.
Investigators did not say how they identified the twins as suspects or a possible motive for the alleged murder.
The two were arrested in Las Vegas and later booked into an Illinois jail. They were each charged with first-degree murder and bail was set at $5 million.
