Man accused of killing elderly couple in their Indiana home

An Indiana man is under arrest in connection to the murders of an elderly couple found dead over the weekend.

On the morning of Nov. 6, a relative checking on John and Elizabeth Hall, both 74, discovered the couple dead in their Mount Vernon, Indiana, home.

Authorities took Austin Kusturin, 28, into custody on Nov. 9 on probable cause for murder, the Associated Press reported.

A coroner determined the deaths were homicides but did not release the cause due to the ongoing investigation.

Kusturin was booked into the Posey County Jail and being held without bond.

Police have not released a motive for the killings or if the suspect knew the victims.
