Indiana Senior Student Said How He Would Shoot Up His School, Police Say. Now, He's In Police Custody.

An Indiana high school student detailed how he would shoot up the school and who he would target first, and now he's behind bars.

According to Prosecutor Lynn Deddens, Hayden Moore, 18, of West Harrison, Indiana, was arrested and charged with three counts of intimidation, Level 6 felonies.

The charges stem from Moore, a senior at East Central High School, saying that “if he were to shoot up the school, he’d hide his grandfather’s gun inside his binder and bring it to school," according to the prosecutor.

The prosecutor also said that Moore made comments about who he would kill first.

“In today’s society, these types of comments cannot be made or tolerated. Schools need to be safe places and free from violence or threats of violence,” Deddens said.

According to the prosecutor, East Central High School took immediate action and removed Moore from the school.

The Dearborn County Sheriff's Department investigated the incident and found that no gun was brought to the school. They also stated that there was no gun at Moore's home.
