A man was found dead in a camper near an Indiana lake, and now his wife is accused of murder.
Around 3:45 p.m. on Sept. 2, the Parke County Sheriff’s Office in Indiana responded to the Raccoon Lake area for a reported death.
When deputies arrived, they found Timothy Tomey, 54, dead from a gunshot wound, according to the sheriff’s office.
Tomey’s death was determined to be suspicious and deemed it a homicide.
His wife, Angela Thomas, was identified as a suspect and arrested. But police did not release a motive in the case.
She was charged with murder and was booked into jail. She is being held without bond.
