An Iowa Woman Was Found Dead in a Parking Lot. Police Say Her Daughter, Granddaughter Allegedly Beat, Stabbed Her to Death.

Two Iowa women recently were arrested after they allegedly killed their relative following an argument at the apartment lived in together, authorities said.

Officers responded to an apartment complex parking lot in Sioux City in reference to a deceased woman, whose name was not released, according to the Sioux City Police Department.

Officers located the victim, who suffered multiple stab wounds. Investigators determined an altercation occurred at one of the apartments in the complex before the stabbing, officials said.

According to court documents obtained by KCAU-TV, the victim lived with 59-year-old Angela Bino and her daughter, 32-year-old Jessica Bino, in the apartment. The victim was Angela’s mother and Jessica’s grandmother.

Around 7 p.m. on Oct. 26, Jessica reportedly got into a fight with the victim and Angela then joined in, according to court documents.

Police believe the pair allegedly were punching the victim and Angela grabbed a candlestick and hammer and allegedly started beating the victim with the objects.

Jessica then picked up a butcher knife from the kitchen and stabbed her grandmother several times, court records claim.

Jessica and Angela attempted to move the victim’s body into the trunk of the victim's car when a neighbor spotted the pair and phoned police, officials said.

Police arrested Angela and Jessica and each were charged with first-degree murder, authorities said.

Both were booked into the Woodbury County Jail and were being held on a $500,000 bond.
