Authorities said Perez’s ex-girlfriend told them Perez was upset their relationship ended and she showed up at the home with a blowtorch to discuss the reasons why they broke up.

Perez then allegedly lit paper towels on fire in the doorway next to the kitchen and threw a phone belonging to her ex’s daughter onto the ground as she was trying to call 911, according to the court documents.

After throwing the cell phone, Perez allegedly took her ex’s keys, rammed the vehicle into her own truck and two other vehicles belonging to her ex's neighbors and then fled the scene, court documents claim.
