Is Aidan Shaffer’s Death Connected To Rampant Disappearance And Deaths Of Scientists?

Speculations intensify as 17 scientist linked to UFO research die or go missing
About 17 scientists connected to aerospace, propulsion research, and UFO-related communities have disappeared or turned up dead in recent times. The eerie situation has sparked a massive concern among the authorities. The FBI has launched a probe into the matter, according to reports.
The recent investigation into the situation began amid reports and speculations surrounding Aidan Shaffer. Shaffer, who was a New Mexico-based researcher, died under circumstances that have raised many unanswered questions. However, officials have not linked his death to the other cases.
17 Scientists Tied To UFO Research Allegedly Died And Disappeared In Recent Times
Authorities yet to confirm circumstances of Shaffer's death
According to reports, Shaffer had a connection to UFO/UAP-related research circles. Many have linked him to Falcon Space, which is a startup focused on experimental propulsion concepts. However, very little about his death has been verified by authorities.
The story gained renewed attention following multiple episodes of the podcast hosted by Nancy Grace covering it. In her recent episodes of Crime Stories with Nancy Grace, she talked about a string of “dead or missing space scientists.”
Grace said in the recent episode titled “FBI Probes 11 Space Scientists Dead, Missing" that the federal authorities are investigating Shaffer’s death and other similar cases where a scientist tied to the aerospace, nuclear, and defense projects disappeared or died.
Many former intelligence officials, investigators, and journalists appeared on Grace’s podcast in recent weeks. Through debate and discussion, it has been established that many of the 17 scientists are linked to facilities such as Los Alamos National Laboratory, NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory, and Air Force Research Laboratory.
Shaffer Allegedly Passed Away In Early 2026
Including Shaffer, around 17 scientists tied to aerospace research died or disappeared
Among the names, Shaffer was discussed many times. Although no details about his death have been officially verified, social media detectives pointed to his troubling posts in recent weeks. Shaffer allegedly posted about experiencing paranoia, mental distress, and fears of being targeted.
Some court records have surfaced online in which authorities noted that he had passed away in early 2026. Subsequently, some criminal charges against him have been dropped. In one episode, Grace noted that many of the scientists went missing while hiking or walking. They have allegedly left behind phones, smart devices, and identification.
While conspiracy theorists have linked all the incidents, speculating about their alleged connection to the aerospace and UFO-related industry, officials have not confirmed anything. Nancy Grace has also discussed Joshua LeBlanc, a NASA electrical engineer who died in a fatal car crash.
