A man has been arrested in connection to a double murder in Florida, though police have not said why he allegedly killed.
This week, the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office said it arrested Riashon Gist, 20, in connection to the late-June case.
Around 9:30 p.m. on June 20, police responded to an intersection for a reported shooting.
When officers arrived, they found a man and a woman both shot to death, according to the sheriff’s office. The victims were both pronounced dead at the scene.
The names of the victims have not been released.
Investigators identified Gist as a suspect and he was arrested weeks later. Authorities have not released a motive in the case.
Gist was charged with two counts of murder.
