A grieving California mother recently shared the distressing message she received from a Los Angeles socialite who is in prison for killing the her two kids. Nancy Iskander’s latest post on X reveals the alarming message she received from Rebecca Grossman last week, whose hit-and-run crash left her two minor kids to die on a crosswalk.
The incident occurred in 2020. Grossman was not convicted until 2024. She is currently serving a sentence of 15 years to life at a California state prison.
Nancy Iskander Receives A Message From Her Sons’ Killer
Posting on X, Nancy shared a mugshot of Rebecca Grossman and revealed that Grossman tried contacting them even after killing her two boys, Mark and Jacob. The convicted criminal allegedly demanded that the grieving mother visit her in prison and see the conditions in which she is being held.
Iskander wrote, “Last week, Rebecca Grossman—the woman who killed my two precious boys, Mark and Jacob, by speeding through a crosswalk—made a request that I would go visit her in prison… to ‘see the circumstances she is in’ and that she is ‘a victim.’ I’m still trying to process how someone could make such a request.”

In the note, Nancy expressed sympathy for the conditions Rebecca Grossman is facing in prison. However, she said it would not reverse the damage or bring back her two sons.
Iskander added, “While I can only imagine how difficult her life behind bars must be, the truth is this: I would trade places with her in a heartbeat. I would live in any prison cell, under any conditions, for the rest of my life… if it meant my beautiful boys could be alive again—laughing, dreaming, growing up, and chasing every beautiful future they deserved.”
Rebecca Grossman’s Fatal Car Crash, Which Claimed the Lives Of 2 Kids
It was back in 2020 when Rebecca’s SUV drove into a crosswalk, resulting in a hit-and-run crash. Eleven-year-old Mark and eight-year-old Jacob were killed in the incident.
Former Major League Baseball player Scott Erickson was also spotted riding in a separate vehicle near Grossman on the same day. It raised suspicions about whether the two had planned to drive together.
Rebecca Grossman’s Conviction And Trial So Far
After the tragedy, Rebecca Grossman was charged in 2024 with two counts of second-degree murder, two counts of vehicular manslaughter, and hit-and-run driving.
Grossman was later sentenced to 15 years to life on the murder charges. Additionally, she received three years for hit-and-run driving, with all sentences to be served concurrently.
During the trial, prosecutors presented evidence showing Grossman’s SUV struck the two boys at a speed of 70 mph on a suburban street. The defense argued that Grossman could not be charged with second-degree murder, as it required a finding of implied malice.
The Iskanders have also filed a civil wrongful death lawsuit against Grossman and Erickson. Jury selection is currently underway.
