Woman and two dogs found dead in a home, suspect accused of murder

A woman and two dogs were killed in a Kansas home and police said they have arrested a suspect.
Around 6 p.m. on March 21, the Saline County Sheriff’s Office in Kansas responded to a home to check on the welfare of a resident, according to KSN.
Sheriff Rodger Soldan told KSN that deputies found the body of a 50-year-old woman and two dogs dead in the home. Officials did not say how the women died or a possible motive in the killing.

Deputies took Brent Allen Spainhour, 55, in custody at the scene, KSN reported. The relationship between Spainhour and the unnamed victim is unclear.
He was charged with first-degree murder and booked into jail.
Authorities continue to investigate the killing.
