Man Goes On Killing Spree After Shooting A Woman Dead

The accused California man, Coleman Guy Rocheleau, allegedly began his series of crimes at around 8:30 a.m. on May 22. Deputies with the Lake County Sheriff’s Office received the first reports of shots fired near Highway 29 and Point Lakeview Road.

When deputies arrived at the scene, they determined it was a road rage shooting incident. Although the suspect had already fled the area, authorities were able to confirm his identity and residence in Kelseyville. An active investigation was then launched to locate him.

Within a few hours, the Lake County Sheriff’s Office was contacted by the Napa County Sheriff’s Office, which reported a similar road rage shooting incident. This time, the suspect allegedly struck a woman in the face nearly 35 miles from the first crime scene. It was the victim who dialed 911 and reported the suspect.

Authorities then conducted a welfare check at a residence in the 10000 block of Terrace Way in Kelseyville, where they found a woman dead from gunshot wounds. Her identity and further details have not been released pending notification of the victim’s next of kin.
