A man is accused of shooting his father to death during an argument, and now he faces a murder charge.

Last week, police in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, announced the arrest of Adam Carter, 21.

He was arrested in connection to the Nov. 22 shooting of his father Ronnie Carter, 64. Police said the shooting happened during an argument.

According to WAFB, Adam Carter told police he gets very enraged when someone blows their nose, which started the argument. While arguing, Adam Carter went to his bedroom to get a gun.

Ronnie Carter then provoked his son to shoot, saying, “Shoot me right here,” according to the report.

Adam Carter was booked into jail on a manslaughter charge.
