Two people were shot to death in Louisville and now police say they have arrested a suspect.
Last week, the Louisville Metro police announced the arrest of 32-year-old Maurice Gibson. He was charged with murder.
Around 2:45 p.m., on Sept. 10, police responded to 26th Street for a report of a shooting. When officers arrived, they found a man with a gunshot wound. The victim was pronounced dead at the scene.
A short time later, police were called to nearby Cedar Street for another shooting. There, they found a woman with a gunshot wound. She was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police said they believed the shootings were related but did not offer further details.
