Authorities in south Texas want to solve a two-year-old murder case involving a teenager who wanted to be a Marine.
Bexar County Sheriff Javier Salazar says Anthony Luna, 18, was picked up after school in August 2021 by someone in a black vehicle. His body was found by a rancher four months later, about three miles from his high school.
“Cast outside and literally torn apart and eaten by animals after death,” Salazar told KENS-TV.
Luna was a STEM program student. Salazar said he wasn’t involved in any high-risk activities, and dreamed of doing robotics work in the Marines after graduating from Southwest High School.
Luna’s death is a Crime Stoppers case in the San Antonio area. The teen’s mother hopes whoever harmed him will confess.
“To say I did it, and I am sorry and come clean.” Sara Trujillo said.
People with information about Luna’s death are urged to call 210-224-STOP in San Antonio.
