Lunch lady hosted parties at her home for students with booze, pornography, police say

A lunch lady in Louisiana hosted booze and pornography-fueled parties for students, according to police.
Dawn Marie Baye, 38, of Chauvin, Louisiana, was charged with 10 counts of contributing to the delinquency of a minor and eight counts of indecent behavior with a juvenile, according to the Terrebonne Parish Sheriff’s Office.
She was booked into jail last week and bail was set at $50,000. The sheriff’s office announced the charges on May 4.
On April 21, deputies received a complaint from a parent that a group of kids had gone to a woman’s house where they drank alcohol and watching pornographic movies, according to the sheriff’s office. The home was later identified as Baye’s.
There were also sexual encounters at the home, police said.
The children were between 13 and 16 years old.
Investigators learned there were sleepovers at Baye’s house, where the parties happened. Baye was a cafeteria worker at a school that some of the teens attended.
Witness interviews and information shared on social media confirmed the incident, according to the sheriff’s office.
Anyone parent whose child attended one of the parties is asked to contact the sheriff’s office at (985) 876-2500.
