Iyanna Marie Colon, 21, is accused of killing 25-year-old Maan Saleh Alblowi . She reportedly went to the Portage police and reported a man was unresponsive at an apartment in Briargate Apartments, near Westnedge and Idaho avenues on Jan. 18. She was arraigned two days later.

Colon reportedly told investigators she and Alblowi got into a fight over loud music, which reportedly escalated. Alblowi allegedly charged at her and eventually started choking her, and that she was in a life or death situation “that caused her to in turn choke Alblowi, who stopped breathing,” according to WKZO News.

She then went to sleep on the man's living room mattress for a few hours and then took a walk in the apartment complex parking lot because she was, "tired of looking at him," according to WWMT News.
