The U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ) has released a fresh set of Epstein Files that include abuse accusations against President Donald Trump. The DOJ had earlier announced that it had declassified all the documents in relation to disgraced financier Jeffrey Epstein.

However, media organizations noticed that files related to 2019 abuse allegations against Trump were missing from the stack. On March 5, the department finally published additional documents highlighting the 2019 case.

In their defense, the DOJ said the documents had been marked as ‘duplicate’ in their database, which is why they could not be unveiled earlier. The files in question comprise notes and summaries from the Federal Bureau of Investigation’s three 2019 interviews with a woman who accused Trump of forcing her to perform oral s—.

Newly released Epstein Files contain abuse allegations against Donald Trump.

The woman, a South Carolina native, has claimed that she was s—---- assaulted by Epstein in Hilton Head when she was only 13 years old in the 1980s. The woman further alleged that Epstein later took her to New York or New Jersey, where she met Trump. According to the woman, Trump forced her to perform oral s– on him, but she bit him.

The documents reveal that the FBI had asked her whether she wanted to elaborate on her meeting with Trump in another interview. However, the woman refused, saying "it would be of no use now."

Following the release of the documents, White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt released a statement and called the accusations baseless. She said the allegations were ‘backed by zero credible evidence.’

Though Trump shared a close bond with Epstein in the 1990s and early 2000s, he has always denied any wrongdoing and maintained that he was not aware of the financier’s crimes. The DOJ earlier also announced that the Epstein Files contained unfounded and false claims about the president.

The department said in January, “Some of the documents contain untrue and sensationalist claims against President Trump that were submitted to the FBI right before the 2020 election. To be clear, the claims are unfounded and false, and if they have a shred of credibility, they certainly would have been weaponized against President Trump already.”

Trump previously said that the release of the Epstein Files has exonerated him because there is no evidence against him. Around 3 million documents connected to Epstein were released by the DOJ between December 2025 and January 2026.

The DOJ is Under Fire for its Handling of the Epstein Files Release

Democrats, and some Republicans, have questioned the department’s handling of the release. Earlier in March, Attorney General Pam Bondi appeared before the House Judiciary Committee to defend the handling.

Many critics have questioned the numerous redactions in the documents, arguing that names were being hidden to protect influential people. Critics have also called out the DOJ for releasing 3 million files, half of the estimated 6 million.

But the Justice Department stated that it had earlier overestimated the number of documents due to duplications. The department has now once again cited duplication as the reason for not releasing the documents that highlight the accusations against Trump.
