Mississippi man accused of murder after he drops his girlfriend off at hospital and she dies

A Mississippi man was arrested after he dropped his injured longtime girlfriend off at a medical center and she later died, police said.

On Jan. 9, police suspect Robert Oshinski, 37, allegedly beat Ashley Barbara, 31, before he brought her to the hospital in Long Beach.

An autopsy showed Barbara’s cause of death was blunt force trauma, and investigators believe she was the victim of domestic violence at the camper she and Oshinski shared, Magnolia State Live reported.

Oshinksi faces a murder charge and was being held on a $1 million bond at the Harrison County jail, online records show.
