19-year-old Missouri man shot three people, killing one, police say

A 19-year-old man has been charged with murder and assault after allegedly shooting three people and killing one.

Ethan Bondurant allegedly shot three people at a residence on Carney King Road in Moniteau County, Missouri, according to the Moniteau County Sheriff's Office.

A 20-year-old man died at the scene. His name was not released.

An 18-year-old man was taken by helicopter to University Hospital and a 19-year-old woman was transported to the hospital by ambulance after both were shot, according to the sheriff's office.

Bondurant also assaulted a 19-year-old woman at the scene, according to the sheriff's office. Investigators have not released any details on what led to the shooting.

Bondurant fled in his vehicle, and deputies later found him on Highway T off of Highway C after he ran into a fence, the sheriff's office noted. Deputies ordered Bondurant to get out of his vehicle and took him into custody.

Bondurant was charged with first-degree murder, second-degree murder, four counts of armed criminal action, two counts of first-degree assault, second-degree assault, fourth-degree assault and unlawful use of a weapon.

He is being held in the Moniteau County Jail without bond.
