The remains will be identified by a medical expert, officials said. Tony Cates was reported missing in May 2021.

After Tony Cates was reported missing on May 10, police found his abandoned truck at a church. A co-worker said Tony Cates was in good shape on the 10th, according to WSB-TV.

Investigators have not said how Cates died or why they believe his brother killed him.
