An attempted robbery of drugs and money in Missouri led to two men being killed and police say the woman that brought them to the house was charged with murder.

Around 5:30 a.m. Aug. 20, the Franklin County Sheriff’s Office said they received a call of a shooting in Sullivan, Missouri.

Once deputies arrived on the scene, they said they found a 23-year-old man who had been shot and was pronounced dead at the scene, according to the sheriff's office.

A second shooting victim, a 24-year-old man, was found and taken to Missouri Baptist Hospital, where he was later pronounced dead, police said.

After an investigation, police said Marie E. Pursley, 23, along with the two men that were shot, planned on robbing the people at the home. Pursley drove the men to the house and dropped them off a few hundred yards away from the house, police said.

She knew the men had guns on them in order to commit the robbery, officials said.

Pursley went inside the house and was doing drugs with the homeowner when the two men came into the house and pointed guns at the homeowner, authorities said.

Another occupant was inside the home and saw the robbery, police said. That person grabbed a gun from inside their room and ordered the men to drop their guns.

A fight broke out, along with gunshots being fired, the sheriff's office noted. As a result, the two men were killed.

After her arrest, police said Pursley was charged with two counts of second-degree murder and one count of first-degree attempted robbery.

More charges will be filed realted to the drug violations, officials said. Her bond was set at $250,000.
