Woman allegedly used sword to kill boyfriend on Christmas Eve, gives grinning mugshot
A woman used a sword to kill her boyfriend on Christmas Eve and then gave a smiling mugshot as police booked her on a murder charge.
On Dec. 24, members of the Cape Girardeau Police Department in Missouri responded to a home and found Brittany A. Wilson, 32, standing outside. She had blood on her clothing, according to the department.
Police responded after a 911 call where the caller said she had killed her boyfriend with a sword, according to KFVS.

Officers found a man in the basement with stab wounds, according to Gape Girardeau police. The 34-year-old victim was Wilson’s boyfriend, but his name has not been released.
Wilson was arrested and taken to jail. She was charged with first-degree murder and armed criminal action. Her bond was set at $2 million.
Investigators have not said what led to the alleged sword attack.
