Two Suspects In Custody After Pregnant Single Mom Of Three Found Stabbed To Death In Georgia, Police Say

Two suspects are under arrest in connection with the fatal stabbing of a pregnant woman in Georgia, authorities said.
Breanna Burgess, a 26-year-old mother of three who was around 20 weeks pregnant with her fourth child, was found dead from multiple stab wounds in LaGrange on July 27, WAGA-TV reported.
Burgess’ unborn baby did not survive the attack.
Two people who knew the victim — Curteze Avery, 28, and Shallandra Freeman, 27 — were identified as suspects in the case, and investigators said they believe the pair targeted her.
Avery and Freeman were each charged with murder and feticide and were being held without bond, according to WAGA-TV.
Police have not released a possible motive for the slaying.
"It’s just senseless, you know, for someone to just do that to her,” said the victim’s aunt, Paulette Ngtmi. “It’s a monster who did this to her.”
