MrBeast’s Company Denies Harassment Lawsuit, Cites Claims as “Fabricated”

Former employee sues MrBeast for harassment
A former executive at Beast Industries has filed a lawsuit accusing the company of sexual harassment and pregnancy discrimination. The company has denied the allegations and called them false.
The complaint, filed April 22 in North Carolina, was filed by Lorrayne Mavromatis, who was previously hired as head of Instagram and later promoted to head of creative. She claims she was fired just three weeks after returning from maternity leave.

In the lawsuit, Mavromatis described the workplace at Beast Industries as a “boy’s club.” She alleges that sexually inappropriate comments were common and that raising concerns could harm her career. She also claims that she and other female employees experienced harassment that was either ignored or tolerated by supervisors.
A key allegation involves former CEO James Warren. Mavromatis alleges that when she raised concerns about harassment, Warren dismissed them. She also claims he made remarks about her appearance, telling her she was a “beautiful woman” and suggesting her looks had a “certain sexual effect” on MrBeast, whose real name is Jimmy Donaldson.
The lawsuit further states that the company lacked a clear process for reporting sexual harassment in 2023. Mavromatis says she was later reassigned to a merchandise social media role after an internal review. The change came shortly before she began maternity leave.

She also claims she was still expected to handle multiple projects during that time, including a work trip to Brazil.
Beast Industries has rejected all allegations. In a statement released on the same day, the company said the lawsuit was fabricated for the sole purpose of sparking headlines and getting a large financial payout.
The statement read: "This clout-chasing complaint is built on deliberate misrepresentations and categorically false statements, and we have the receipts to prove it. There is extensive evidence — including Slack and WhatsApp messages, company documents, and witness testimony — that unequivocally refutes her claims. We will not submit to opportunistic lawyers looking to manufacture a payday from us."
A spokesperson also criticized the lawsuit because it mentioned Donaldson’s health conditions. “It’s also disgusting that the lawsuit is exploiting Jimmy’s eye condition and Crohn’s disease — two medical conditions he has been publicly open about — in their attempt to secure a multimillion-dollar payday."
Mavromatis, however, maintains that her claims discuss a wider pattern within the company. Her filing states that harassment was not only experienced by her but also observed among other female employees.
As of now, the case is under investigation, and legal proceedings will follow.
