Murder suspect who lit home on fire in Michigan arrested trying to board plane to Alaska: report

A woman in Michigan accused of murder was arrested trying to board a plane to Alaska, according to a report.
Hope Snyder was arrested this month in Detroit trying to board a plane, according to UpNorthLive. She was accused of setting a house fire in Mason County, Michigan, that killed Jeffrey Grant.
In November, police responded to a house fire in Sheridan Township, Michigan, and found Grant dead.
Police said Snyder knew Grant but did not provide additional details, according to UpNorthLive.
Two dogs also died in the fire.
The TV station reported police said the investigation into the fire became a homicide case when aspects didn’t add up.
Snyder faces counts of open murder, first-degree homicide, first-degree arson, two counts of second-degree killing animals and one count of being a habitual offender.
