Nancy Guthrie Case: Expert Says 84-Year-Old Was Alive During Abduction, Cites Key Evidence in Chilling Update

Nancy Guthrie has been missing for over 100 days now.
Nancy Guthrie has been missing for over 100 days, and there has been widespread debate about her possible fate. Considering her fragile health and medical condition, people are worried about her safety. An earlier ransom note suggested that Guthrie may have died after her abduction.
However, an expert has pointed out that the 84-year-old was alive, at least when she was taken from her home. Former Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) profiler Jim Clemente has analyzed the blood droplets seen outside Guthrie’s porch to conclude that she was still alive at the time of her kidnapping.

According to Clemente, the blood droplets were concentrated near the door and gradually thinned out toward the driveway. The expert said it shows Nancy Guthrie was alive, as she coughed up blood with her face close to the ground.
“We also know at least that she was alive at that time,” Clemente said in an interview with Fox News, adding, “She must have aspirated and then coughed up blood with her face very close to the ground.” Apart from Guthrie’s fate, Clemente says the blood spatter also points to a single kidnapper.
According to him, the victim’s face would not have been near the ground had she been carried by two kidnappers. “I don't believe that would have happened had two people been carrying her at that point,” Clemente added.
The profiler earlier made similar claims, stating that Guthrie was abducted by a single individual. “If there were two people, you would think one of them would have control of her, complete control of her inside the house, and brought her outside and would not have lost that control. But here, she’s clearly on the ground coughing this blood up,” Clemente said in a conversation with Brian Entin in April.
He continued, “There’s no evidence to me that there are more than one offender here. If there was three different shoe print patterns in the blood stains … that would tell me something. I don’t see it. I’m not aware of that evidence.”

A Ransom Note Earlier Suggested Guthrie Had Passed Away

As for Guthrie’s fate, an alleged ransom note sent to TMZ earlier in April claimed that the elderly woman was already dead. The sender demanded half a bitcoin in exchange for information about her burial site, and another half for details about her kidnapper.
However, authorities were unable to authenticate the note, and the ransom was not paid. Guthrie’s daughter, Today host Savannah, has also previously said that her mother might have already passed away, though she still hopes for a miracle.
“She may have already gone home to the Lord that she loves and is dancing in heaven with her mum and her dad and with her beloved brother, Pierce, and with our Daddy. And if this is what is to be, then we will accept it. But we need to know where she is. We need her to come home,” she said in an emotional video.
However, authorities are not yet certain whether Guthrie is alive or dead. The search for her has now entered its fourth month. The FBI is currently re-examining DNA evidence collected early in the investigation in an effort to uncover new clues about the alleged kidnappers.
