A teen was hit and killed by a vehicle and left in a ditch, and now police say they have arrested the suspect.
Around 1:30 a.m. on March 14, police in Greenville, North Carolina, responded to an area for a report of a person lying in a ditch. Officers found a dead 13-year-old boy, who appeared to be a victim of a hit-and-run.
Shortly after 9:30 a.m. that same day, family members called to report Jacquile Ray Jackson missing, according to Greenville police.
The description of Jackson was similar to the person in the ditch, police said. The next day, a medical expert confirmed the victim was Jackson.
