A 61-year-old man was found dead near a homeless shelter in Nebraska, and now a 55-year-old suspect faces criminal charges, according to reports.
On Sept. 1, William Wright, 55, was arrested in connection to the killing of Ronald George, according to the Lincoln Journal-Star. He faces charges of second-degree murder and using a weapon to commit a felony.
Police in Lincoln, Nebraska, responded to an area near the shelter around 2 a.m. on Aug. 31. There, they found George with wounds to his neck that were caused by a blade, according to the report.
He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Investigators identified Wright as a suspect, though they did not detail what led to the stabbing.
Police also said they are investigating another suspicious death in the area where Wright might have a connection, according to the Journal-Star. But authorities did not provide additional details about that case.
