An 18-year-old Nebraska man was arrested and charged with murder in connection to the death of a 61-year-old woman, police said.
Around 8 a.m. on Oct. 31, the Omaha Police Department said officers responded to a home for a death investigation.
In the original press release, officials said, “Due to suspicious circumstances, the Omaha Police Homicide Unit is investigating the death as a homicide. The victim has been identified as 61-year-old Jolene Harshbarger.”
After investigating, police said 18-year-old Daniel Dejaynes-Beaman was booked into the Douglas County Corrections on Nov. 1. He was charged with first-degree murder and use of a weapon to commit a felony in connection to the death of Harshbarger.
