New Jersey teenager shot and killed, man and woman charged: cops

A man and a woman have been arrested in connection with a deadly shooting in New Jersey.

Around 7:30 p.m. on Feb. 11, officers were called to Kennedy Plaza in the 400 block of John F. Kennedy Way in Willingboro, New Jersey, for a report of a shooting, according to the Burlington County Prosecutor's Office.

When officers arrived, they found the body of Adam Janson, 19, in the parking lot in front of a pizza shop, cops say.

The investigation revealed that Jansen got into a vehicle with Knowah Crowderparham and Alexa Hess, 19, according to prosecutors.

An argument ensued and Crowderparham shot Janson as he attempted to exit the vehicle, according to prosecutors.

Police have not said what led to the shooting.

Crowderparham, 21, was charged with first-degree murder, endangering an injured victim, conspiracy and several weapons charges. Crowderparham is being held in the Burlington County Jail in Mount Holly.

Hess was charged with endangering an injured victim, conspiracy, hindering, obstructing the administration of law and tampering with physical evidence.

Hess has been taken into custody and lodged in the Atlantic County Justice Facility.
