Police questioned Ruybal and she admitted that she and the victim got into a fight, but that she didn’t mean to stab her, as reported by KRQE.

Ruybal stated that she meant to stab the door, but the victim stepped in front of her, police said.

Accident or not, Ruybal was arrested and is charged with first-degree murder, police said.
