Caleb Flynn faces new charges including aggravated murder and witness intimidation in connection with his wife’s death.

What Happened?

Ashley, 37, a Lee University graduate and volleyball coach from Tipp City, was found dead inside the couple’s home in the early hours of February 16 after her husband claimed there had been a break-in.

Authorities accused Caleb Flynn attempted to intimidate someone who witnessed the crime. He was charged with two counts, but it is not clear if the suspect attempted to intimidate more than one witness. Officials have not disclosed the identity of the alleged witness.

According to court records, the alleged intimidation took place between February16 and February 18 — the days between Ashley’s murder and Caleb Flynn's arrest.

Court documents indicate the couple’s two daughters were inside the home at the time of the shooting.

“May your two young and beautiful daughters look back at all the work you have done, time you have given to so many and see the amazing mom figure. Even though your life was short, may your girls carry you on through life. Prayers to your family, friends, and community.”

Days before her death, Ashley had updated her Facebook profile picture to a photo of herself kissing Caleb Flynn.

Jon Crawford, husband of Kara Crawford, one of Ashley’s closest friends, said on her GoFundMe page, “Ashley lived her life as the hands and feet of Jesus. Her laughter was contagious. She was an incredible encourager who loved people deeply. She was a devoted wife, an amazing mother, and a cherished daughter, sister, and friend.”
