Danny Ramos, 33, was accused of stabbing his dad in the neck at his father’s residence on May 15, authorities said.
After stabbing his father, police said Danny called police from the apartment, gave them a different name and reported the death.
Police were called to the apartment around 3:45 a.m. on May 5 and found David O. Ramos, 73, dead, according to authorities.
Police have not shared any other details about what led to the fatal stabbing.
Danny was arrested on May 16 and was charged with second-degree murder in connection with his father’s death, police said.
