Elina Gutti, also known as Olga Singhania, or Olga Gutiy, 38, was indicted in Somerset County on charges of first-degree murder and two counts of third-degree possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose.

South Bound Brook Police Department received a call from Gutti, claiming she had “unexplained injuries” on her wrist around 2:30 a.m. Feb. 6, according to Somerset County Prosecutor's Office.

Officers found an injured Gutti, who required minor medical treatment.

Officers also found a 4-year-old-boy, Aiden Singhania, suffering from “severe lacerations to his throat” lying in a bed in the first floor bedroom that he shared with Gutti, according to the prosecutor's office. Two bloody kitchen knives were found on the floor near the bed, prosecutors noted.

Singhania was pronounced dead at the scene, prosecutors said. Gutti was transported to a hospital for medical evaluation by South Bound Brook Police. She was indicted on the murder charge last week.

Gutti is being held in the Somerset County Jail and is being held without bail.
