A New Jersey man is accused of raping a teen he met at a light rail station, prosecutors said.
This week, the Hudson County Prosecutor’s Office in New Jersey announced charges against Cashmere Mudayh, 36.
He is accused of sexually assaulting a 14-year-old girl he met at a light rail station, according to prosecutors said.
The alleged incident happened on April 18 at Mudayh’s apartment after he met the girl at the station, prosecutors said. Investigators did not detail if the two knew each other before the meeting.
They also didn’t say how police found out about the alleged incident.
Mudayh was charged with second-degree sexual assault and third-degree endangering the welfare of a child. He was booked in to jail on June 1 after his arrest.
