Dispute leads brother to shoot and kill his sibling, NC police say

A man in North Carolina is killing his brother during a dispute, police said.

Around 10:30 p.m. on Nov. 6, Robeson County Sheriff’s Office deputies responded to a home in Parkton, North Carolina, for a person who had been shot. When deputies arrived, they found Isaac E. McNair, 29, dead.

Police said the shooting was the result of a dispute between Isaac and his brother Isaiah E. McNair, 21.

Isaiah McNair was arrested and charged with first-degree murder, discharging a weapon into an occupied vehicle, felony possession of marijuana, maintaining a dwelling for a controlled substance and possession of marijuana paraphernalia.

Police did not say what led to the dispute between the brothers.

Isaiah McNair is being held without bond in the Robeson County Detention Center.
