A former friend of Melania and Donald Trump is threatening to expose their alleged ties to late convicted s-- offender Jeffrey Epstein. Amanda Ungaro, a former model from Brazil, has vowed revenge against the president and the first lady over her deportation.

Ungaro, 41, is the ex-partner of Paolo Zampolli, Trump’s close friend and United States Special Representative for Global Partnerships. After nearly two decades together, the couple split in 2023 and became involved in a custody battle for their son.

Ungaro says she will expose the Trumps after years of silence

According to Ungaro, Zampolli used his connections within the Trump administration to get her deported from the U.S. last year. In a new interview with Spanish media outlet El País, Ungaro said she will not spare Zampolli and his friends. She is ready to speak up about the Trumps’ alleged connection with Epstein after years of silence.

“Now it’s war. We’ll see who wins. I kept quiet for years, and because of that, people judge me. They ask me, why are you speaking now? Because the man would not let me live in peace! I tried. I left the relationship with nothing,” Ungaro said.

The former model added that she spent time with the Trumps during her relationship with Zampolli. They celebrated several New Year’s Eves together. Ungaro was also present during a Fourth of July celebration and a White House Easter event for children.

Last week, a social media account allegedly associated with Ungaro posted repeatedly against Melania. The X account, named Amanda Ungaro, criticized the first lady and threatened that she would tear down her ‘corrupt system.’ One of the posts read, “I will go all the way—I am not afraid. Maybe you should be afraid of what I know… of who you are, and who your husband is.”

According to reports, Melania issued a statement distancing herself from Epstein following the social media threats. The first lady told reporters last week that she knew the convicted abuser only as an acquaintance and had no further connection to him. The move surprised many, as most of the media had already moved on from the Epstein Files topic.

Ungaro has described herself as an Epstein survivor. During her interview, she revealed that her agent had made her fly on Epstein’s private plane in 2002, when she was only 16 years old.

“My agent told me, ‘We’re going with a couple of friends, a private plane just for us.’ There were around 30 very young women there, 14, 15, 16 years old. I said, ‘What is this?’ And he replied, ‘Don’t worry,’” she recalled. The woman added that she greeted Epstein on the plane, but never saw him again.

Ungaro was deported from the US in October 2025, after the authorities determined that her residence permit had expired. She was initially arrested at her workplace on fraud charges and held in a Miami jail.

Zampolli then allegedly reached out to David Venturella, a top official at Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), to get his ex-partner deported. Ungaro spent three months at an immigration detention facility in Florida before being sent to Brazil. However, ICE has maintained that Ungaro was not removed from the country for political reasons.
