A 17-month-old baby was beaten to death with furniture and now his parents face murder charges, police in Ohio say.
Canton Police Chief Jack Angelo said officers responded to an indecent exposure call around 5 p.m. May 17. The complaint was about a nude woman walking on the sidewalk.
When police arrived, the woman told them that her son had been murdered at a home, according to authorities.
Police entered the home using an unlocked window and soon found a child beneath several large pieces of furniture, police said.
The baby, Kevin Walker Jr., was unconscious at the time and was suffering from severe head and body trauma, FOX 8 reported.
The infant was taken to Mercy Hospital, where he was pronounced dead, authorities said.

Police believed the child's mother, Mary Guarendi-Walker, 24, assaulted her child using several pieces of household furniture.
Guarendi-Walker was identified as the naked woman from the initial call.
The mother was arrested and charged with murder, police said.
Kevin Walker, 29, was also arrested and was initially charged with obstruction of justice. But, police also charged him with murder as they continued their investigation.
A judge set a $2 million bond for Guarendi-Walker and $1 million for Walker, according to Cleveland19. The duo pleaded not guilty.
