Dillon Wayne Engle, 26, was charged with two counts of murder and two counts of felonious assault in the deadly shooting of 51-year-old Brian Jacobs, according to the Montgomery County District Attorney’s Office.
Police responded to a report from a woman who claimed that her grandson shot Jacobs in the 700 block of Gondert Avenue around 12:20 a.m. April 20. Officials said Jacobs had a gunshot wound to the head, and was pronounced dead on the scene.
Engle’s mother reportedly told police that she witnessed him shoot Jacobs, according to Dayton Daily News.
