A 91-year-old woman found dead in a bush near her Ohio home has authorities looking for a culprit in her suspected homicide.
“The Cuyahoga County Medical Examiner’s Office has ruled the death of Essie Mae Henry as a homicide. Essie was a long-time resident of South Euclid and was known to many in the neighborhood from her frequent walks,” South Euclid Police Chief Joe Mays said in a statement.
Police said they found Henry near Warrensville Center Road and Colony Road. Officials said she died around 4:30 p.m. on Nov. 4.
Officials said they were not certain how long she had been in the bush, and are keeping a tight lid on details regarding how she died.
Henry was 5-feet-6-inches-tall and weighed 135 pounds, South Euclid police said. Anyone with information regarding this incident should call Detective Michael DeMario at (216) 691-4210 or e-mail firstname.lastname@example.org.
